This is Stella trying to figure out how to get this big Daddy shoe on her foot. When we put her foot in a big shoe later, it blew her mind; first she look confused, then she was amused, then confused again and ready to get out of it. Quite comical!
Isn't this cute...Finley is explaining to Stella how to use the shape sorter :) Stella had a fun time playing with Finley and her toys! Jen and I did a little child care exchange, she watched the girls in the AM and I watched the girls in the PM so we could both get some appointments in sans baby.
If you are lucky, Stella will give you a little kiss these days; not recommended to put your face in kiss range until you are sure you will get one as alternatives are glasses ripped off, face pinched, or a combination of those.
We spent the night at Gin and Rick's (just Stella and I...Sean was back at work) and around lunch time headed over to Nanny Estelle's apartment where we hung out until the afternoon. Time to head home and take advantage of the long car ride with a long overdue afternoon nap! We had a great time visiting and can't wait for Allison to come back in August with Sofia (and hopefully her papa Zio Lorenzo)!
Allison came back with us on Monday night to Elkridge; Tuesday she got her MD license renewed, did a little more shopping, and had lunch. Stella and I headed back to Leesburg with her in the afternoon. We spent the evening hanging out and had a visit from Crystal and Scott.
We spent Sunday night at Gin and Rick's house. Stella had a piano lesson with Uncle Rick and then she and Daddy practiced for a while :) She definitely will have the fingers for playing piano if that is where her interests lie.
My cousin Page, along with husband Bryan, 6 month old Jackson, and black lab Coleman were in attendance at a family gathering in Virginia. Isn't he a cutie?!! We had Thai food (Mom went to 2 days of cooking school in Bangkok on a recent work trip) and lots of good company. Allison was home for a long weekend and we all wanted to spend plenty of time with her!
