Happy First First Anniversary

Sean and I celebrated our first first wedding anniversary with everyone who was at the wedding -- Stella, Dan, Jen, Bill, and Finley (she was there in utero last year). We returned to La Palapa, a favorite Mexican restaurant in old town Ellicott City which is where we went to celebrate last year after the ceremony.

Family Dinner

Some of us gathered in Round Hill, VA at Aunt Peggy and Uncle Fred's house. Cousin Chris was visiting from California, so Stella got to meet 'uncle' Chris. She also spent some time with 'aunt' Jessi and cousin Sarah. Jessi had her hands full with 2 little girls who adored her and wanted to play with her all evening long. I'm not sure she got to sit down for more than about 5 minutes.

"Sock"

Stella is very interested in her socks and shoes these days and has her own little words for them. Shoe is 'foo' and sock is 'saa'.

LaDew Topiary Gardens

We went to LaDew to see the band that played at our wedding - Smooth Kentucky. The gardens are beautiful and we spent a lot of time wandering around; it was a wonderful summer evening shared with friends and good music.
